Hotel: Hotel Jen (a Shangri-La hotel). Hotel Jen is conveniently located adjacent to the Brisbane Transit Centre and only a short walk to the Central Business District and the cultural and entertainment precinct of South Bank. The hotel is 15km from the Brisbane International and Domestic Airports. The hotel offers transportation at additional charge. Bus and rail transfers operate from the Brisbane airport terminals throughout the day and night.


Costs for HFCC/ASBU Delegates: In addition to the hotel accommodation room rate, each delegate must pay the HFCC Conference Fee and the Hotel Jen Conference Package Fee, as specified below.

Room Rate: $AUD 180 single/$AUD 200 double including breakfast. This rate is available for the nights of 19 August 2015 until 29 August 2015 (for departure on 30 August 2015). Additional nights outside of these dates are available at 20% off the best available rate at the time of booking. These room rates include GST tax.


HFCC Conference Fee: $USD 150 or EUR 130 per person

Note: Spouses and family members of conference delegates who would like to take part in the daily group lunches from Monday through Friday may do so for $40 per lunch. As these persons have to be registered with the hotel in advance, please indicate any extra lunch participants in the comments section of your conference registration form or by e-mailing the conference organiser at fregmgrreachbeyond.org.au

Hotel Reservation Deadline: 24 July 2015. Reservations made after this date are subject to availability of rooms and at the current room rate.


Hotel Reservation Procedure: HFCC/ASBU delegates should make their hotel reservations directly with the Hotel Jen no later than 24 July 2015 by Downloading and filling out the hotel reservation form at the link below, and scanning and e-mailing it to the hotel at the address indicated on the form. fax or e-mail (see contact information below). Reservations and the Hotel Conference Package Fee will be guaranteed by your credit card at the time of reservation, and will be payable in full upon arrival at the hotel. If you do not have a credit card to guarantee your reservation and conference package, it is possible to make a deposit to the hotel by wire transfer. Please note that credit card payments are subject to a 1.5% service fee. (You can avoid this fee by paying in cash upon arrival, but you must still guarantee your room and conference package with a credit card by 24 July.) Important Note: If you do not plan to stay at the Hotel Jen, you still need to reserve your Hotel Conference Package at the Hotel Jen no later than 24 July 2015 and guarantee it with a credit card or wire transfer.

HFCC Registration Procedure: At the time you make your hotel reservation (no later than 24 July 2015) please fill out the online HFCC/ASBU B15 registration form


Hotel Cancellation Deadline: 24 July 2015. If you cancel a reservation after this date, the hotel will charge a cancellation penalty of one night's accommodation plus the entire amount of the Hotel Conference Package Fee ($AUD 325).
